Project and intellectual property policy
How approved projects should handle ownership, attribution, reuse, and confidentiality.
This is the Phase 4 operational draft required by the UICA blueprint. UICA must complete legal and governance review before treating it as final legal text.
Agree before work begins
Each approved project should state ownership, licenses, attribution, confidential information, permitted reuse, data duties, and third-party materials before contributors begin.
Respect contributors
Contributions must be credited as agreed. Participation does not automatically transfer every right to UICA or another contributor.
Public release
Only authorized material should be published, and release must comply with consent, safeguarding, privacy, partner, and evidence requirements.
